I just bounced my first rent check since I lived here...i may die of embarassment and I want to move asap.
I haven't bounced a check since I was 18!!! I don't even write checks except for rent. Once check a month, that's it. I forgot to transfer money into checking until the morning after I dropped my check in the managers box. I put the check in there like at 4pm on Monday the 3rd and it tried to clear by the end of that night!!! How does that work? Can you do it by home computer??? Doesn't the manager take the check to the actual bank for god's sake and still how does it clear in 2 hours!!
I'm horrified, absolutely horrified. Now he thinks I'm a bad check writer along with having a barky dog that's still in a cone. Maybe he'll think I'm a little retarded since I'm in the crutches and all and he won't thinkk I'm a dead beat.

HA, the crutches are a start, but i suggest you find yourself a seizure helmet and an ALF lunchbox stat. perhaps a drool bib too, but that might be a little overkill.
