Well, I attended my 1st SG party and I've only been a member for a month or so. It was great to have met you all - even those of you whose names I'm not quite sure of. And I took some snaps! To wit:

Now, why is my elbow all sore?
When I got home yesterday, I tried to take a nap but failed. So I headed over to a friend's house for his daughter's baptismal party. Got to see tons of people I hadn't seen in a while and reminisced about various dumb things that happened in high school. From there it was off to another friend's place for dinner. He and a couple other people are putting together a calendar the sales of which will benefit the Peace Corp. It shall include recipes from various countries and they were trying them out before they headed to the printer. It was so fucking good! Bulgarian eggplant, Ethiopian lentil salad, Armenian nutmeg cake....mmm...And the homemade Hungarian pear brandy did what water couldn't - get rid of my hangover. My friend also lent me a couple speakers and a tape deck so I can copy some shows from tape to CD.
Now I've gotta get some paperwork ready to mail.

That is the sound of me kicking myself in the head for missing not only a kick-ass party but the WORT thing as well. At least I got to hang out and slack with Rev. Velveteen at the station the previous week.
I did make it to the party in the park, didn't recognize anyone. Participated in the fencing club demo and tied 3-3 with one of the students. Hung out and bought a cool CD, pledged to go Veggie for a week, volunteered for PAVE. At least i get to see them pics. Thanks for that.
