Racism and being a nut job are not exclusively the domain of "white" people.
It's hard to believe that people in this day and age are still so full of hatred for some perceived injustice, that they would advocate exterminating people.
And here I thought that these kind of attitudes were reserved for members of the KKK and skinheads. unfortunately I know there are nutjobs in every segment of society. And in the U.S.A. there seem to be a disproportionateamount of them.
Now I have always been an advocate of free speech, and I believe that you have a right to say what you want as long as it hurts no one physically, or advocates such. And I believe in fighting for that right even if i think that what you may or may not have to say is right or even the truth. This kind of stuff does not belong on TV no matter what group is putting out the message.
But I wonder if people like Dr. Kamau Kambon (Shown in the video) should be allowed to spit their vitriol around, especially on TV (mind you no one watches c-span) without at least a rebuttal or some tempering by moderators. Which I am sure happened, but is not shown in this youtube clip.
By putting out a video like this without the proper context could give ideas to people who are unstable already, as this guy seems to be. Good thing most whack jobs don't watch c-span. But a lot do look at youtube, so there in lies the problem.
It only takes one person to act out on this message to turn it from a moron spitting his brand of hatred into inciting murder.
Have we forgotten the words of Dr. King? Has his message and the messages of his contemporaries been lost forever?
Hopefully people who see this vid can see it for what it is. And hopefully the authorities in the U.S. are watching this guy and his followers
