So it's the end of the year, and this is the time where we're supposed to do an inventory of all the years' events, good and bad, try to sort it all out. Well, I just don't have the energy. Large portions of 2009 sucked. A lot. I ended a five year committed relationship and, for a while, it utterly destroyed me. It also pushed me to become a better person. 2009 was a year of change--a lot of it. And I have an awfully hard time saying that this was, you know, a "good" year, or a "bad" one. It was just another year. Maybe when I have some more distance I'll be able to see things more clearly. The personal growth will outweigh all the bad stuff, or maybe I'll look back and I'll be filled with regret. I don't know, I doubt that'll be the case. Let's hope not anyway.

And whatever 2009 has been, I've been pretty damn stoked about the last month and a half or so.
