Where to begin? I'm still in Chicago, currently not employed, sort of seeing someone maybe; I think, staying out of trouble, that is the short of it.
In early October my cyclocross bike was stolen from my backyard (very secure), with a sharp eye and a clear mind I was able to get it back. That is very rare in Chicago, I have been told. For work I am looking for Industrial Design positions and opportunities to work with custom and very classic cars. I am very passionate about both topics. A friend has opened a auto business in Park City, PC has its perks but it also has some downsides. Not a large sailing community in Park City, a lack of real booze is a big let down too. We'll see.
I'd rather stay in Chicago, and have applied to a heap of positions that I am well suited for. One at Beyond Design is my strongest hope. I am a very good fit for them and they are my ideal firm to work at. Grate team, awesome location for me, beautiful office, room to grow with the company. I'm crossing my fingers on it.
