Thanks for taking the hit for your adoring fans! :-D Actually if you did explain it to management I'm sure they'd totally accept the reasoning behind it.. :-D

When I was little I loved rocks. I'd constantly be picking them up on walks or near the train tracks behind my house, and by the time I made it home my pockets were so heavy and bulging from these rocks and stones I collected.

I also collected the shit out of those Spice Girl stickers that came with their signature candy....I remember lining sheets...

Today has been a mighty productive day off so far:

Woke up early (one of the perks of going to bed at a humanly hour)

Cleaned the apartment/did laundry that has been staring at me for a week

Bought groceries

and now I'm making pizza!

.....all I need to do now is have a margarita on a patio and enjoy this amazing weather!

Hope you're...

Today was actually a pretty rad day for me.

I have been wanting to leave my current job almost since I started it (I've only been there for a month and a bit), and have been dreaming about getting a job back at this company I worked for previously. A close friend of mine recently earned his own store and mentioned that I should apply...

This weeks @bloghomework from @lyxzen @missy @rambo is asking what the most amazing/hilarious/disastrous romantic gesture you have ever pulled off, witnessed, or been the subject of?

Last summer my partner brought me to his hometown to meet his parents and to take in all the beauty that Newfoundland has to offer. We took a drive one night all around St. John's and he pointed out...

Here's this weeks @bloghomework from @rambo and @missy ...

My absolute favourite line from any film is taken from the Joe Strummer documentary, The Future Is Unwritten. The first time I heard him speak these words towards the end of it I just started bawling. His message and delivery were so powerful and it just sucker punched me right in the feelings! I have so...

He was a really nice, genuine person, who died way too soon. Many, many years ago, I went to London to visit the Rough Trade shop on Talbot Road. As I wandered through the streets to the shop, I walked by a Laundrette, from which emerged a bloke carrying a washing basket full of clean clothes. It was Joe Strummer. I held the door for him, and then, for a few priceless moments, chatted to one of my all-time heroes. Other people might have said 'Piss Off', but Joe was a real gent. I went my way, and he went his - but I felt ten feet tall! A lovely bloke, sadly missed.

First blog posts are usually terrifying so I'm just gonna jump right into it and help you get to know a little more about me!

I'm a small, cat-obsessed girl hailing from Toronto. You can usually find me wearing no pants, snuggled up in bed watching anything Food Network-related (currently Cutthroat Kitchen) or a classic movie (I like to fall asleep to Breakfast at Tiffany's)....
