It's finally starting to feel like Christmas up in here. The snow has taken a huge dump on the city of Toronto, I've got my Nutcracker record on repeat (the ONLY acceptable holiday songs, in my opinion), and I've been kicking ass at baking all of my holiday treats....and also eating them.
When it comes to gifts I've always been really awkward about opening them in front of people. Christmas of '97 is forever ingrained in my head because my mom forced me to open a gift that my aunt gave me and everyone was watching. All of a sudden I burst into tears, present sitting in my lap unopened, and everyone was literally shocked. What kind of kid cries about opening gifts?! This one, right here. It's also on a family tape at my mom's and I can never escape it.
I also really feel uncomfortable asking for things. My answer is always "I dunno. Nothing.". Most of the time I really feel like I don't need anything, I just really want a nice holiday dinner with my family and friends and lots of wine to be passed around! But just to humour myself, I'm making a wishlist....a fantasy one. Cause why not?! A GIRL CAN DREAM, DAMMIT!
1. Alkaline Trio tickets. They're playing 3 nights in Chicago next month and I would kill to go!! But they sold out in like, 2 seconds. :( I guess I'll have to get Matt Skiba to notice me some other way....har har. (mostly kidding).
2. Lip fillers. I've been dying to experiment with lip fillers and I'm making it a goal to have them done at some point in the new year. I have never been stoked on my lips, sometimes they disappear when I smile and I smile A LOT. I also love that it's not a permanent thing and if I hate it they'll go back to normal eventually. Though, I guess I could just use the mouth part that Mr. Potato Head uses and no one would know the difference......right?
3. For Gordon Ramsay to cook me a meal, because duh. I have a slight (huge) obsession with him.
4. Kat Von D's entire makeup collection. I have literally fallen in love with every single palette, brush, lipstick, etc. she's created. Everything is so pigmented and beautiful! And it has proven to be great for my skin and doesn't make me break out like El Chapo.
5. Everything and anything made by Solstice Intimates. *drool*
