My brain has been sloshing around in my head like rocks in a fish bowl...i think everything is just now settling down to the bottom...*sighs* I kinda was hoping that this year would be a bit more lazy...instead I've been going nonstop...but that's ok, it's just life I guess....
Friday I'm going to do a few new sets with my photog gal pal Sky and I'm super SUPER excited!!
My boys Bastard Fish did their rough recording on Saturday and if nothing else got a bit of experience out of it. They still have a bit more to go but I'm glad they've started on it. We're having a big Bday Bash for the guitarist so if you live in NE Alabama hit me up for a rocking party with live music, dancing, food, and best of all ALCOHOL.
I was able to see an old friend of the family over the weekend. He was diagnosed with Colon Cancer a few months ago and looks terrible...he can't even do his treatments because his white blood cells are so low...blah...but ya know, he's still so ridiculously upbeat about life! Going on about random Dr. Who episodes, bands he wants to go see, and his plans for DragonCon and so on....sometimes all you need is a chance to be around ppl like him to realize how good things really are...and how much better they can be...if you stay positive....
and there's my wisdom puke of the day.....THINK POSITIVE....
....oh and not like anyone cares....but I really love this house....I want one just like it...near a beach...yeah *thinks positive*
