As mentioned above, I'm a student who's trying to do research for a class. So the class is on Documentary Screenwriting. What we have to do is write a shooting script for a documentary. This basically means that we do everything short of filming the documentary. My theoretical documentary is called Panty Raid! and it serves two main purposes. The first is to help me find the perfect pair of panties. The second is to uncover the mystery behind the power of the panty. I'm fascinated by the way that something so hidden has become such a fashion statement. After seeing the SG Burlesque show I realized that they would be perfect girls to ask about panties. I mean, panties play a key role in the show, as does nipple tape, but that's a whole other point. So I'm on here in the hopes that I will be able to ask the girls some questions about their panties. Yep, I realize that sounds really creepy and I'm trying to figure out how to make it sound less so. Asking strangers about their unmentionables is always a risky move. So we'll see how it goes.

Here is a copy of my theoretical proposal for my theoretical documentary. I'll be editing it, but it at least gives you an idea of what I'm doing.

Panty Raid!
This film takes a daring look at the unmentionable. The one thing that stands between a woman and nudity. That wonderful little item that is rarely seen but often thought about. The panty. Yes, that's right, the panty. Why are we so concerned with something that is rarely seen? What place does the panty hold in our society? Is it possible to find the perfect pair of panties? As a woman who happens to wear panties I feel it is my duty to find the answer to these questions. I also happen to have over 20 years of experience in this area. With the help of other women, who have also been wearing panties for years, I will lead the ultimate raid on panties.

Panty Raid! follows me on my quest to find that elusive "perfect panty". My first stop on this adventure is a wine soaked evening with my friends. I quickly find there is no better way to get girls to reveal their most horrifying panty experiences. They also willingly share the wisdom they've gleaned from years of slipping into and out of their unmentionables. From here my journey takes me to The Suicide Girls Burlesque show. I'll talk with the girls about the importance of panties in their show. As an added bonus they show me how the right pair can make any woman a goddess. For a slightly less racy perspective I talk with Eve Ensler, author of The Vagina Monologues. Eve is more than willing to talk about so close to her area of expertise. But my quest could not be complete without meeting with someone who knows a lot about the panty industry in Canada. As the CEO of La Senza, Irving Teitelbaum gives me a sneak peek at what's hot in panties. How does a man control a vast percentage of the panty industry in Canada? Throughout this 30 minute documentary you will learn things you never knew you wanted to know about the panty.

Panty Raid! shows us the hidden power of the panty. This film shows us how something so simple can turn women into goddesses and leave men drooling. Panty Raid! also looks at what men really think about panties; is the thong really the way to go? Ever wonder what panties women wear when there's no one around to see them? How do you turn something rarely seen into a fashion statement? Will I ever find the "perfect panty"? Panty Raid! will answer all these questions and so much more.
