Ok, I'll probably replace this with a more complete blog when I have the time, but right now I'm still getting over the good-bye blues and I have to clean up and shit.

Suffice it to say, I had an amazing time with deathlybeauty. She's a great girl, and anybody that gets to spend any time with her is a very very lucky person. Which I suppose makes me pretty damn lucky. It's hard to remember that right now though when I look around the room and see all the signs that she was here and yet know she isn't, and won't be again for a long time. ... OK, fuck this, I'm going to make this the complete blog to try and cheer myself up. Prepare for detail overload.

SPOILERED for the feint of heart:

SPOILERS! (Click to view)

So she arrived at 2:13 PM on Thursday the 31st. (I know this from the "Plane landed" text. I'm not rainman.) Lots of smiling and hugging. I was nodding my head like an idiot-child because I was happy but I had no idea what to do because I'm awkward like that.
After a short trip on public transportation we get back to my place. And then promptly leave to go to the corner pizza shop for some lunch. Those of you that are long time readers will recognize this pizza place as the joint were I take anybody that visits. It's fast, it's cheap, and it's pretty tasty all things considered. I think she agreed.
Then we hopped on the train and went down to RI for my ninjutsu class. Which just so happened to be a test night. So she got the treat of not only seeing my clumsy ass earning a stripe, but the advanced students showing off. My sensei even had the black belts do a little "test" which he hasn't done in over 6 months.

... This blog is turning into very much the stream of consciousness. So in that spirit, I'm going to switch gears and instead of giving you the minute by minute play I'll skip to all the important bits.

On Saturday, we went to Starbucks for my little weekly reading ritual. After which we went to Faneuil Hall/Quincy Market to see the sites and do a little lite shopping... Ok, I bought a practice knife and she window shopped. Whatever. Then after a bit to eat at Cheers, we went to the movies to see No Country for Old Men. I'm glad I finally got a chance to see it.

Sunday we went to IHOP for breakfast and then did a little bit of shopping in Harvard Square. We picked up a few different varieties of Pocky at a store called "Tokyo Kid". Then headed to the Aquarium for a bit.
I fail at getting pictures off my phone now. There aren't any terribly exciting ones so don't worry.

Monday I had to go into the office for work, but when I got back we went out to dinner at the Cheesecake Factory and met two of her friends that she hadn't seen in 3 years. We had a nice meal there and I managed to steal the bill before anybody else could get to it biggrin
I'm sneaky that way.

Tuesday we went to Ninjutsu again and she very patiently sat through another class. It was less exciting than test night I'm afraid but it was still pretty enjoyable I think. We got to play with those puzzles from my previous blog for a while when I was waiting for my class to begin.

Wednesday we went to eat at this very nice little Italian Restaurant. It's a beautiful little place filled with plenty of atmosphere and delicious food. deathlybeauty managed to get me back for stealing the bill on Monday by paying for dinner then. She also got me back by washing the sinks in my bathroom today (Thursday).

That's all the big stuff, of course it doesn't begin to capture how much I'll miss just holding her and cuddling. I don't know what I did to deserve her friendship but I'm very glad for whatever it was.

Ok... still a little sad, but I'm a bit happier thinking about those memories.
Maybe ninjutsu tonight will cheer me up. *fingers crossed*
