So I came back to what my inexperienced eye would say was an amazing Sunday night in the chat room. I hope I never have to miss another Saturday.
(Is that lame that I actually am looking forward to staying in next Saturday?}

The weekend, despite its distinct lack of incredibly hot and awesome women, was really fun. My dojo ended up doing three demonstrations in Newport, RI (two on Saturday and one on Sunday) which I though were all very impressive. Even though my friend the black belt fucked up his diving roll in the second demonstration and was unable to roll the next day. YOU'RE A BLACK BELT YOU SHOULDN'T MAKE MISTAKES!! :-P

I kid, I kid.

The first day (after all our demonstrations) we trained for three hours out at Brenton Point. (It's this awesome part of Newport right up against the Ocean). I love when we train like this because my sensei teaches us all sorts of things that he doesn't in normal classes. Plus I, the lowly white belt, get to practice advanced techniques with the browns and blacks. AWESOME!!!

I took some awesome video of the demonstrations that I might be putting up on youtube (and thus in here) eventually. We'll see if I can motivate/remind myself.

All in all it was an excellent time and I think it just about made up for missing Steph drunk apparently.

It's way too late, and I'm still awake (obviously). Time to fix that.
