Got back from my 3 week trip out west and learned that 3 weeks isn't long enough. I miss living in AZ so badly!! One more year of school in FL and then I can move back to Tucson! I just have to graduate....I think I can do that!
During my trip I spent 2 days visiting with my Grandpa (92) and Grandma (86), they are some really interesting people. I wish my grandpa would write a book! But he doesn't want to...If he is still alive and kicking when I move back out there I'm going to record all his stories and write them myself. I don't care if its only me and my family who reads them, they are just fascinating.
Like how my Grandpa spent about a year courting my Grandma. She wouldn't date him for an entire year. They only went out on their first date b/c my Grandpa convinced a friend to set my Grandma up on a blind date with him. After that date a year later they were married.
I'm sure that story doesn't mean a thing to anyone on here but I love it and I think my family should know these things. Too many of us don't pay attention to them and we should. My goal is to get my brothers, sisters, cousins, nieces, and nephews to start calling or writing the Grands every now and then. They really enjoyed my visit and I'm sure would love more contact with the family.
I probably should get to bed b/c tomorrow I have to be up early and start thinking about where I'm going in LIFE.....
