I need to put last Friday in writing:
ok so Friday night Freshie (my best friend and current crush) and I drive to Tampa to my Aunts house. she was invited to a small house party and then an art gallery opening and she asked if we wanted to go so we are like sure we go and meet some really interesting people: John (my aunts friend) he is really funny, Ray (the girl having the party), Tom (Ray's friend) and Ann (another one of Ray's friend) they are drinking which if fine and well Freshie and I are kinda shy around this people in their 40's to 60's but we try to make small talk when directly engaged otherwise I like just watching (I'm a wallflower at first and then I open up....I don't like being pulled away from my wall before I'm ready)
so after the house thingy we head to the gallery....which was nice I love art. Ann keeps trying to talk to me and Freshie....and have us around here...her speech is slurring badly she wants to know about my personality and wants to why I'm awesome (b/c that's what freshie said. "Kate is awesome") then she turns to Freshie...she loves his perfect smile and wishes he would smile more and then think he needs to work on his skin kinda rude to call someone out on their acne and his wasn't even that bad I mean come on he is 19 it happens so Freshie and I are trying to deal with her and the fact that we are starving b/c we haven't eaten all day finally my aunt tells us we are going to the restaurant across the street ::excitement::
well the whole party comes with which is find they are going to have wine and Freshie and I are going to eat well I want to limit the people I talk to b/c well I don't like crowds so I sit at the corner next to the wall and of course Freshie is going to sit next to me well Ann tell freshie no and sits next to me he is going to walk around and sit across from me but Ann tells him to sit on the other side of her b/c she wants to be in the middle we are both horrified luckily on the other side of Freshie is this guy Micheal (another friend of Ray's who joined us late and isn't talking to anyone b/c he is on the far corner) so Ann trades places with Freshie so that she can talk to Mike so Freshie and I are so happy!!! we decide to share our meals b/c there were two sandwiches that looked amazing so we each took a half and the night was starting to get less awkward. then it was time to go b/c Freshie and I were up and went to classes and all that so as we are leaving we have to say goodbye (by this time Ann has moved to the other side of the table so she could talk to us but that failed b/c we were eatting) well she got up hugged my aunt then came around the table hugged Freshie and kissed his neck (weird), then she hugged me and kissed my neck (still weird) but I thought its like when my family kisses peoples cheeks so whatever but then she kisses both of my cheeks (I was thinking I must be freed now....time to go...longest goodbye to a stranger ever!!) then she asked about my lip rings and if they get in the way of kissing I was like "....no?" (b/c I have no clue I haven't kissed anyone since I got them) THEN she goes let me see she leans in and tries to kiss my lips I figure out what she is about to do at about the last second and turn my face so she kisses my cheek again then she goes come on let me see grabbing my face luckily she isn't that strong and my will to get away is sooooo much strong so I'm able to pull myself away jump behind freshie and walk away I was almost crying as I walked out of the place
