Since I've been a rather negative person lately, I've decided to make a list of my pet peeves:
-when people don't screen telephone calls, especially when a caller id pops up on the tv AND 99% of calls are from telemarketers anyway
-when people make it blatantly obvious when they're on their phones in a public area (talking very loudly into the air instead of into the phone--there is a difference!)
-when people don't realize I can't hear them well when I have headphones in
-when people decide to talk to me MORE when I have headphones in
-when everyone else seems to be having an amazing time at college while all I can think of is how miserable and pathetic my life is right now
-when people boast about getting extra hours at work
-when people boast about getting a day off from work
-when people say something in that voice that's like "I'm not talking to you but I want you to hear me" and then expect you to actually say something in reply
-when people remind you everyday that they need the tv at a certain time, even though they've watched that show everyday for years and you've got the hand-over-the-remote routine down
-when people expect other people to know everything that they know when it comes to a special interest or hobby (i.e.: "That person who knows nothing about ships called it a boat! It's a frigate!"--To the general public, it's a boat, or at least a ship, ok?!?)
-when people clean for a living and then make a mess at home

He's like fire and ice and rage. He's like the night, and the storm in the heart of the sun. He's ancient and forever. He burns at the center of time and he can see the turn of the universe. And... he's wonderful.
