Me and Mercie start talking everyday and start getting to be good friends.
September 2009
She makes an offhand comment about she needs a boyfriend. I volunteer. At this point its just a half joke.
Then we realize that we're not really joking at all.
Me, adam and ruben drive from NYC to MD to visit her.
I kiss her in the elevator and trace her tattoos with my finger while we sleep.
October 2009
Mercie makes the move from MD to NYC.
We're dirt poor and spend most of our time drinking and watching movies.
We have a ton of fun at parties and gallery openings.
November 2009
I realize that im sick of school and that she can no longer stay in NYC with me. I drop out of school and she moves back to MD until we can figure something better out.
December 2009
I move back to CT and after over a month of no Skercie, we ruinite when i go to MD/PA for new years and a week. I've also decided to go to CA for a few months to get shit straightened out.
January 2010
We have a SHITLOAD of fun at zepp's house and after she drops me off at the bus 2 weeks later, I miss her. a lot.
February 2010
Im in CT and shes in MD. we're both miserable and CA starts to look permanent.
We skype everyday and watch movies together while on skype so its like were with eachother.
March 2010
Mercie decides to move to CA and we begin to make plans for it.
Mercie is more miserable than ever and i just keep saying hold on, hold on, hold on until you can get to CA. Just get here and we'll make it work.
April-May 2010
Mercie arrives in CA and we move into my dads old condo. Our lives are made miserable by my Uncle/roommate.
May-august 2010
We fight, and kiss and make up, and fight and love eachother and argue and cuddle and general have a huge rollercoaster ride of a relationship. When its bad its HORRIBLE but when its good, its really fucking good...kind of like sushi.
August-Now 2010
My uncle moves out and our apartment is now a fun, calm space for us. We make new friends, lose some, and keep some and through it all somehow don't stab eachother in our sleep.
We may bitch and fight and hate each other but its only because we love each other. I dont know how she puts up with my 'Boy' nature and inability to show emotion and general lack of household chore doing, and my innate need for mothering and being taken care of but she does. I have no idea how I put up with her emotional ties, snappy demeanor or unwillingness to come cuddle and sleep when it smeepy times. But then again I don't how eyeballs, recycling or the internet do the things they do, but i use 2/3's of those things all day everyday.
