i got a raise and promotion at werk. that fact and some convincing words from my friend at werk have gotten me to stick around this place. i hope im not making the wrong decision.
getting my hopes up usually equals a big disappointment afterwards. just because i have a job and a place and some sobriety under my belt does not mean that im cured. it means im in denial. ill always be a junkie because i want to be a junkie. when you've got nothing, you've got nothing to lose.
