Been feeling a little emotionally battered and bruised lately..... made me think of this... hadn't given it much thought since I wrote it.

And I Entrapped and personified in this turmoil twisted fragile form,
broken bruised battered and worn
by lifes little turns of fate and form ....
and dreams left disarrayed in fields of ashen hope.
Stumbling, struggling footing unsure;
making my way slowly and methodically to eternities blackened gates,
with unfulfilled dreams in one hand and banalities bitterest bile in the other.
Glassy glazed lost eyes swirling to the repetitious taunting whispers of antagonistic persona's,
the shadows of moments lost and wasted, echoing inside the vastness of my mind;
leaving me empty, hollow and horrified....
by ghosts of the past and illusions of the future.
