Well, it's been a bad week.

On Tuesday, a friend of mine from KU, Kyle Almeida, was in a one-car crash and died. He was a really bright, excellent guy. We studied architecture together when I went to school there. It really really sucks. I found out on Thursday and was shocked, but mostly ok. Though, on Friday, it really hit me that such an amazing person, at only 23 years old, was gone. I was at work when this realization hit me and ended up delivering four pizzas with tears in my eyes. I left work right after those deliveries and went straight for Kansas. It wasn't a fun drive. It was nice seeing my friends, but not a fun nice, of course not, just awful really. The funeral the next day was hard. I was able to keep from crying for most of it, but once we got outside I couldn't stop the tears. It was awful. Awful.

Kyle is the one with the awesome smile and gnarly chops.



Sigh.

Also, my room is freezing over.
