my birthday weekend was superfabulous. best friend from ohio flew in on friday to surprise me. space devil bought me a beautiful ring. and i got to eat chocolate cake and drink wine!

return to work. mixed-media art class starts thursday. san diego friday. cocktail party saturday. breakfast sunday. readysetgo.

today was the first detox challenge.... missy and i attended a baby shower that was at fridays of all places. fortunately they had a veggie tray. but after the gifts came the worst part. cake. come on already. i love cake. missy and i piled our plates with snow peas and celery. it was comical but we held it together.

this week:

rushed one of the dogs to the emergency room and had to admit him for overnight testing. sad.

picked him up the next day - still no diagnosis but he feels better. relieved.

2nd week of detox almost over. feeling physically and mentally superfabulous. looking forward to eating berries and avocado in week 3.

mary quite contrary read my numbers for me. apparently i'm in life cycle 5 until year 2020. and i'm in turning point number 5. this is a time for freedom, change, and expansion. out with the old in with the new.

friday night would normally include having some drinks with my people. but for 21 days it's water. we're on our 5th day of the 21-day detoxification. it means eating nothing but rice and a few vegetables and fruit. i'm having a love/hate relationship with rice right now.
