here are a few things going on with me:

- i think i've decided to go to the Lovemakers show on the 22nd. it's my birthday that day. you should all come out and have a drink with me. also the show is all ages. so come out if you can, i think tickets are like $13. not to bad.

- 2 more days until the GayVN award show. 2 more days until i lose my first award. but damn it's soo exciting to be nominated. i wish i could be there to hear my name, and giggle to the fact that this crazy little straight boy is being nominated for best gay porn editor. hah. what if i win?????????

- i just found out last night that i'm getting the best birthday present ever. really. i won't get it til April 1st. so hopefully this isn't some bad joke.

- i hate to say it, but i'm broke until tuesday March 22nd. i know i know, didn't i just get paid today? yes, but that all went to rent and bills. the good news is March 22nd is my bday so i will have some money for that, and i guess the good news is i really should start to learn to cook my own food instead of eating out. but, oh how i love to eat out. (this is sounding dirty).

- i am waiting desperately for my tax return. i should be getting something like $460 back. $290 (haha) is going straight to airplane tickets. i would like to buy them as soon as possible so they don't go higher. i really want to fly jetblue this time. i like tv. the rest of the money um well will probably just go to helping me find food these next 2 weeks.

- i am buying a new digital camera. i know i just got one like a month ago, but i'm sending that one to my mom for her birthday. it's still brand new and it's a good camera. and it will be perfect for her because it's pretty simple to use and she's kinda old. i'm such a good son. but on to the good stuff. what camera should i get. i mostly want something that is very very small. fit in your pocket. i already have a larger camera that i use for more serious stuff, this would just be for me to take out and use for candids. i know i said i'm broke, but i have $320 in best buy credit, so this is taken care of. here are my choices so far:

Canon SD200

pros
-$300ish
-i think this is the smallest camera of the 3.
-i like sd cards. i already have a good one.
-3x optical zoom aint bad.
-big 2" display

cons
-only 3.2 megapixels. this isn't bad at all and is just fine for 4x6 prints wichis primarily what i want to do.


Sony DSC-W1

pros
-5megapixels. nice
-huge 2.5" screen on the back
-3x optical zoom
-uses AA batteries which i kinda like. i have a really good set of monster cable rechargeable AAs. i like the idea if the battery runs out i can swap them.

cons
-$350ish
-uses memorystick (this is ok, cause my other camera is a sony, so i already have memory sticks. i just dont really care for the format)
-biggest of the 3 cameras. but still very small.

Canon SD20

pros
-5 megapixels
-very small
-SD card

cons
-$350
-no optical zoom (lame)
-small lcd screen (lame)


UPDATE: I bought the SD200. yay i love it. it's tiny. the battery is charging. and all i paid for was the additional 4 year warranty. YES! so this thing will break in 4 years and i get something new again!!!! what suckas.
