So I am in a class that requires us to go check on pregnant pigs at different times to record behavioral changes. This is my assigned week, so I've been out frequently. When I went out to check on them one was in hard labor!!!! I stayed because I knew she was a first-time mommy... and I called the guy we're supposed to tell-he told me to stay with her until she delivered, just in case something went wrong. SO I stayed with her until REALLY late at night...delivering little piglets. THE COOLEST THING EVER.. I was like Dr. Jaimie out there. My friend was with me but he just came along for company and had no experience with pigs. He did get some really cute photos though... :-)
