I cant believe Steve Irwin died... He's been my idol since I was five... He's the reason i wanted to go to Australia to intern at the Australia zoo, and part of the reason I want to be a vet... I am so sad for his poor family!

I got stung in the foot by one ( backed up on it, buried in the sand) and it was the worst pain in my life, bar none ( and I have been hit in the chest with a aluminum bat, breaking 3 ribs, peice of cake compared to that). The coast guard said 70% of people hit by the stinger pass out (from shock). I feel for those around him.
