Watched both series of Spaced, Shaun of the Dead, Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back and started to watch Family Guy Series 1 these last few days. I've been missing so much good shit! Spaced is the best thing ever, and SotD is superb- I don't care where I am, White Lines always makes me go nuts and dance like someone's middle-aged dad.

Bought a load of arty foreign films too, probably just so that they look good on the shelf next to Airplane! and Blazing Saddles! and other stuff with !s at the end. Like Terminator!


Went to strip club for work guy's stag night. Goddamn it was fun, had me a dance- best 10 I ever spent- but it feels slightly sleazy talking about it... she was really hot, thigh-length PVC boots do it for me, it seems...

Took myself off the SG dating thing as I am starting to feel like a fairly pathetic human being enough and don't need the absense of responses to keep kicking me in the kidneys.

Bought Everquest II for online RPGage, seems okay, will get into it more i'm sure.

You should see the movie Hideous! It's another movie with an exclamation in the title. It's awful. It's hilarious. It's the feel-good movie of the last century: once you watch it you'll feel good about not being a puppet who lives in a pickle jar.

Furthermore, I just noticed that you're into Tolkien. Tolkien is my homeboy, because I too study Old and Middle English.
