On the subject of resolutions:

This year I would like to get a new job, one that doesn't involve serving customers or lying through my back teeth for money. I would also like to see more of my friends and redevelop my social life, as it's been more than two weeks already and I feel like a pariah. This again links to the job resolution, as I have no energy after work to go out anywhere.

Third and fourth resolutions are unlikely- move out of home, and learn to drive. I don't trust myself enough to drive without giving in to "certain urges", i.e. to mow down pedestrians. Moving out of home would mean gaining a lot of free time and mobility, but losing a lot of free meals.

Last year's resolution went well- losing weight and all. Towards the end there was a helluva lot of temptation in the form of boxes of Celebrations and Cadbury Roses, and I admit I didn't always stay on the wagon...





Just watched Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind for the first time- superb film. Also watched Spiderman 2, not for the first time. It had things exploding 'n' stuff.
