The dilemma- to go out with a girl i'm not 100% into, or not?
Doesn't sound like a dilemma, does it. I should stick to my principles, save her feelings and my own. Besides, i've had 23 years of self-sufficiency and any kind of close relationship is going to be a serious culture shock. I'd be a terrible boyfriend.
However... the clue is in the text. I have been ALONE. For my entire life. No female companionship whatsoever, mostly because finding a nice girl is tough when you don't try. I don't even know how to kiss. For fucks sake, who reaches 23 without even being kissed?

I'm surprised that you've never been kissed, 'cause I think you're smoochable.
I knew a guy who didn't get kissed till he was 22. There's nothing wrong with that. It's just when you choose to go out and give it a try. And besides - that means you won't have any bad habits from when you were 16 and sucky at kissing.
