i tried to give the new layout a chance, i really did, but i think i'm gonna have to jump on the "i really don't like it" bandwagon.

i mean, it looks pretty and all, until you try and use it. i find it overly cluttered, and it's just not user friendly. basic rule of web design is not to sacrifice functionality to make it look flashy. load times are so much slower than they used to be, and there's far too much navigating to do to get around to looking at everything. i barely even look at the sets anymore. that's largely due to the load time. just switching between the preview for the current set and the previous ones takes an annoyingly long time. then, actually looking at the pictures, waiting for the next one to load, i usually wind up tabbing to another site while i wait, and wind up completely forgetting about this one. that applies to everything else too. not that i spent a whole ton of time on the site before, but i find i'm spending even less now.

i dunno, i guess i just don't understand why someone would abandon a light, clean, well designed site, and replace it with something so bloated...
