I was in D.C. for the weekend. It was nice to be away, but still stressful as we had so many things we planned to do. I need a real break. Fortunately my school's spring break is coming up, and I plan to take my belated trip to provincetown.

I totally lo-jacked my students today because of April Fool's Day. I gave them a fake test that was impossibly hard. Then, after one or two minutes, I wrote an "extra credit" question on the board: "How does it feel to get completely punked by your professor?"
