Hollywood!
Hmph.
This place is a trip. Yahoo! Maps and gas station attendants have become my best friends in trying to find my way around this crazy town. I've also finally learned how to paralell park, which is something I really thought I could go my whole life without ever having to do.
Brother and I have been slowly putting our apartment together. It's nice and I really like being there. I haven't felt that way about anywhere that I've lived in years.
Before I left San Francisco I hung out with TheRacoon and he asked me what my dreams about L.A. were. I realized then that I didn't have any. I don't know how I feel about that. Usually when I'm getting ready to move somewhere new I form ideas it and have a bit of excitement about what it will be like. I guess the constant disappointment has worn me down. Is this good? That I'm just willing to take it as it comes and accept whatever is - instead of getting excited only to be disappointed in what isn't?
Well, one thing I'm looking forward to is starting school again. I checked out the school yesterday and sat in on a lecture. I was very pleased and can't wait to enroll. I just need to find my ass a job.
Tiger_Liger adjusted really well to the move. He spent maybe the first 15 minutes cowering behind the toilet then he came out to explore. Now he thinks he's Mr. Big Shit just running things. He's becoming more demanding than ever before with the 7 a.m. wake up calls to "FEED ME!" and his excessive pickiness about his litter. No matter. I'm just happy that he's happy.
Went out to a bar with my friend Danny a few nights ago. Spent half the night drinking beer at the bar and staring at the bartender's ass. Contemplating what his face might look like in better light.
Hmmm... I have but a few weeks to get things together. After the end of this month I start picking up shifts again in San Francisco at The Lusty Lady. Should be interesting.
Bye for now!
