Pardon my absence, but I thought I was near death and couldn't get to the internet.

Went to New York and finally met up with infinitelykaty. She is too much adorable. After looking at her on the internet for so long... I just kept staring her and wondering how she could be really real. At one point I was looking at her pictures on the internet and then looking up at her.

Trippy shit.

We met up with mrkoyen and his sexy ladyfriend who put us up for our stay. He is too much awesome, so if you haven't yet made his aquaintance - check him out. Serious. He and Yill are such a fun, down-to-earth couple. It totally gives me, ms. spinster-in-trainining, hope.

I can't wait to see infinitelykaty again when she comes through L.A. this month! We didn't do nearly as much tear-assing around NY as I had wanted... all the traveling really wore me out. Something I didn't anticipate. Which leads to my being near death.

Twelve hours of traveling back to CA from New York after being caught in the snow the first day in NY... I was not okay. I finally made it back to my mom's place in Stockton around 11 at night and crashed through the house tearing off my backpack, jacket, shoes... then I collapsed on my mom's bed and screamed, 'I'm SICK!!! I'm SICK!!!" She asked what was wrong, "I have a headache! My face is stuffed with snot and I can't breathe from my nose! My throat is swollen I can barely swallow! I have a fever! I keep coughing and nothing comes up!" Then I slept. For two days. I woke up and she told me she was taking me to the urgent care clinic. I hd to fill out some form and I only put my name and address then sprawled across the chairs in the waiting room and just lay there staring at the ceiling. My mom is asking me questions to fill out the form and I just start screaming, "I don't KNOW I don't KNOW! Stop ASKING ME STUFF! I don't CARE!!!" I was so miserable and bitchy I thought I was gonna cry. I'd been bed ridden for three days at that point. I hadn't eaten anything, could barely drink and was so thristy. I couldn't stand up without getting dizzy and nearly fainted at the clinic trying to walk back to finally see the stupid nurse practitioner who stuck some stick down my throat until I nearly puked and kept palpating my tummy and making me scream OUCH then he just gave me penicillin and Tylenol 3 because he didn't know what was wrong but, "Your throat is very infected and you're ears are very infected". So I had to spend another three days in bed taking stupid penicillins every four hours.

I'm supposed to be in L.A. No worries. I'm doing that tomorrow. Now that I can stand up and talk and breathe and all that good stuff.

Okay, gotta go. I'm at a coffee shop and this kid whose eyelids I licked like three years ago or something just started talking to me. Isn't that the oddest damned thing? He walks up to me and says, "Hi! You look familiar. I met you a few years ago at a show... you, uh.... licked my eyelids". Indeed I did!
