I'm in L.A. and I love it love it love it!! I didn't think I would, but somehow I do! I have to come out here more often.
I've been doing nothing but straight up lounging. I packed so much shit for my trip that I can't shop because I dunno how I'll get it back home! ?? !!!
Today I went on an audition for some movie called Wizard of Gore. It was so much fun! We did two takes and they were done with me, but I asked to do it again. They made me ditch the script and improv the scene... that got me so nervous! But it was exciting! I would love to audition for movies all the time. Next time I come back out here I'll have to find other auditions. Maybe when I get back to The City, I'll start auditioning again. I'd forgotten how much I love acting. If I get this particular role, I'd have the join the guild. That's not really something I'm interested in because one, union dues! Hello! Plus, I'd be ineligible for non-union gigs. For someone like me, that just doesn't make sense. Most independent stuff uses non-union talent, and I don't have the level of experience necessary to compete with only other SAG talent. ::shrugs:: Whatevah
Oooh! I finally got to meet Voltaire! She was at the audition, too. I could not stop staring. I felt the same way around Stormy when I met her... all nervous and giddy.
Those two are just unreal to me!
Anyway... tomorrow. Vegas! Woot!
