I'm so glad today is going to be short compared to others. I'm doing two jobs today, but I'll be done by 11p.m. instead of 2 or 3 a.m. I got around four hours of sleep last night... and lemme tell you what. That's not enough!

Work was great last night. I met some really cool people. The owner of one of my favorite North Beach dives came in and after I got off work I went down the street to his bar to hang out for awhile. Had a shot and a beer. So, it's my fault I didn't get much sleep. I knew I should have gone straight home. I finally got to bed around 4:30 a.m.

I'm doing double duty at my day job right now. In addition to my regular duties, I'm filling in for the Workforce Analyst while he's off getting married and honeymooning in Vegas. I do the scheduling, forecasting, daily stats, weekly stats, monthly stats... boring boring boring!! I don't know why they picked me to do it. I'm horrible at math, don't know who anybody is or what they do as far as the scheduling goes. My suspicion is that no one else wanted to do it.

I feel terribly bad that I haven't been spending much time with Tiger-Liger. I was pouting all the way to work last night. I spent around $70.00 on new toys and treats for him last week, but I know it's not the same as me being there and it doesn't make me feel any better. I just love the way he comes bounding down the hall towards me and his little meows. All he wants is my attention.

My schedule as of right now says I have tomorrow night off. That can change anytime because I'll never say no to the opportunity to make more money... but hopefully I can stay in with Tiger tomorrow night. I also need to complete some paperwork for school, and I really should get my room organized now.

I'm really glad I've been keeping myself so busy lately. It helps with my idle hands. It also helps keep me present.. instead of my mind constantly wandering in the future or the past. Good stuff right now.

This entry is boring. I need to party. I'm supposed to go out dancing on Thursday night. Hopefully I'll still be up for it. I love going dancing and don't get to do it enough. Yeah, I think I'll tell myself to look forward to that.
