I can't believe Jennifer Hudson got voted off American Idol. I know.. I know.... I hated that show at first. This is the first season I've actually watched and there are some really strong performers. Jennifer Hudson was one of them... IMO, of course. Jeez. What the hell happened??
Anyway, I got my bill for the union today. $77.00!!! WTF??? That's insane. I can't believe I have to pay that in order to stay employed with the company. Is this some sort of sick / twisted, nickel and dime to death extortion technique?? Join the union or you're fired! Give us money or you're fired!! What the hell???!!!!
I am NOT amused.
In addition to that good news, a supervisor approached me and told me I can begin trainning on some additional responsibilities within the department. I did ask for the position in hopes that they would find more use for me and increase my hours... but it's looking more and more as if I'll just end up with more duties and the same pay.
Grrrr....
Anyway, I have a piano lesson tonight. Or, rather, I'm meeting with a piano teacher. Then I'll decide if I want to schedule a lesson. There's something to look forward to. Now I just need to figure out how the hell I expect to *pay* for these lessons.
