An It's It, beer and cigarettes on a Sunday night. Yum yum!
I found a dollar in front of the corner store. I picked it up and spent it on a Super Lotto ticket.
The weather is really nice out right now. Not too breezy. It's perfect, actually. And I realized for the first time that I've most always lived by the water. Somehow I'd never thought of it that way before. But I closed my eyes and took a breath and was back in San Diego. In a few more steps I was in Hawaii again. How interesting for someone who doesn't know how to swim to be so subconciously drawn to the ocean.
I wonder if I'll ever go back to Hawaii. Maybe I'll hit the jackpot with that Super Lotto ticket - harharhar. I was chatting with my sister about it. She wants to go, too. If I went with her I'd want to do a resort thing. When I went, I went by myself. And I didn't really have a lot of money. I hung out local style on Maui.
Actually, it was the same thing with San Diego. I just got up and went. Without much money. I just played it by ear once I got there.
And, I'm starting to get that itch again. I've been trying to establish roots here. With the union job and the bank account but I find myself wanting to flee again... and my health benefits have barely kicked in!
