Yes. I have read several accounts of Poly being jealous of the press Laura was getting, and kicked her out citing reasons like "she was crap". Lauras band after that, Essential Logic, were quite cool.

Hmmm X versus Gun Club. Its a close one for many reasons, but Id say Gun Club. The Las Vegas Story, man, what an album... *swoon*
