ugh... got drunk last night for the first time in a while... woke up disoriented... it sucked... no more wine for me for a while... tea is better for sissy for now... dammit... i would actually say that i've been depressed the past week, and there has never been a time before when i could honestly say that about myself... i guess the year anniversary of my split is coming up... a lot has happened and for the most part i think i've done a good job of not dwelling on it too much... this past week has been rough, though... halloween is a very karin time of year... she arrived here in autumn and left in autumn... my most emotionally charged memories of her, good and bad, are set against an autumn background... i guess i know why i've been sad...

but i have to pull out of it... keeping busy helps... i need to complete work for school... i work 2 graveyard shifts this coming week... 1 tonight actually... if i convince myself it won't be hellish, maybe it'll be okay... we'll see...
