I'd say you definitely have the look to be an SG, the pics you have up make that clear

You can find photographers here. (We don't have any staff photographers in Australia, but there are several of us who are aspiring to be staff photographers some day).
Another tip, if you're replying to people who've written on your blog, post your reply on their blog so they know you've replied. It's a bit backwards compared to facebook but it's been around longer than facebook
Apart from that, wander around the site, there is plenty to see and do. There is good advice in the Hopeful's Group for aspiring models as well.
