I was tagged by @ainoa to make a blog about my favorite movies. That was quite a few days ago, sorry for the delay, I was away from the internets :D
But anyway, movies:
One of my favorites is The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, it was the last film Heath Ledger ever made. In fact he died about 80% into filming, so there were a few parts of the film that had to be re-shot to make a gimmick work. When his character goes into the Imaginarium his appearance changes, and so different actors (Johnny Depp and Colin Ferrel among them) took on the role as a homage to their late friend. But regardless of the tragic story behind the making of the movie, it's an awesome movie.
Another magnificent film is Dark City, it's a film that inspired the script of the Matirx films. It's about a fictitious city, where inhabitants are given false memories and thoughts of being outside of the city, when in reality all they've ever know is the Dark City.
A film that brings me back a lot of memories is Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain , the film that launched Audrey Tautou into international stardom.
I don't really know if these are may favorites of all time, it's a very hard question to answer, there are so many films I love. But These are definitely great movies I think anyone should check out.
