There's this guy (go figure) that I've had a crush on for, no joke, 10 YEARS. We grew up across the street as kids and went to high school together, plus kept in touch since. Well, he knows how I feel thanks to my "tipsy tongue" (alcohol is my truth serum) and then some. We haven't talked in almost two months, ever since this argument we had in early February, but I'm hoping to change that today.
He's back in town (stationed in Germany with AF) for his grandfather's funeral, and I was hoping to get the chance to take him out tonight now that I've FINALLY gotten a full day off.
Granted, we'd only be going out as friends and as a way to help him kinda clear his head, IF we even do go out; but I AM going to call him later today and see if he's up for it. If not ... C'est la vie. I'M still going.
