Got up early this morning to have coffee at my favorite caf. I love summer mornings before it gets really hot. The air is still clear and it's fun to watch people hurry to work. And of course girls in pretty summer dresses... wink

I have my first interview tomorrow ever since being thrown back on the job market. They don't hire full time but are...

So, Chad Smith of Chickenfoot hurt his arm pretty badly while throwing his drumset off the riser at their Paris gig a couple of days ago. Fekkin' awesome drummer, but what a dufus! I'd be MAJORLY pissed if they have to cancel the Montreux show on Saturday. mad

The Michael Jackson madness just won't stop. Getting seriously sick of it. The only good news coming out...

Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers? I have never heard of Chickenfoot. *blush*
bob:
Yea, he's a mild acquaintance of mine. (And, a huge crush) biggrin

He's a great guy...and I'm a fan of his music. I think I like his personal stuff better than the Marvelous 3 era...but that's cause I got a big country streak runnin' through me. biggrin

But, I do love their "Cigarette Lighter Love Song" (Among others)

Worked on getting my portfolio up to date. I realized there are not too many good campaigns I worked on during the past three years. Hmmm... Let's see what my headhunter has to say about this. whatever

Watched "Sons of Anarchy" for the first time last night. Cool show. Sort of the Hells Angels version of "Sopranos". They are so many great TV shows out there....

Good thing, no creepiness is good. ha ha smile I am definitely not a serial dater, I know what you mean. That is so annoying, I don't even bother anymore!
Ahhh... I used to love thunderstorms too but I have a scary story I won't share with you hahaha. smile
bob:
Yea, the SG video is still broken frown It timed out on "Processing")...but the file itself is fine.

So, I broke down and uploaded the video to YouTube.

Well, after yesterday's "licking the foam off my lid" episode, I had an even more weird incident today. I was dating a girl a few years ago until she told me that she has a boyfriend (yeah, that kinda sucked). We did continue to see each other because she wasn't happy in that relationship and had plans to leave him. About three months later she...

Ha ha ha...thank you....dinner was fabulous, it took me a long time to recover though, seriously, I was laying on my Moms bed crying. HAHA! wink
I plan on enjoying the summer with my boy, but he keeps wanted to just hang out with my Mom! Soooo...I am all alone again tonight! I will write you back though after I settle down and eat some sushi...mmmmm....not as heavy on the belly. lol
And thanks for the compliment on my top, I am so used to wearing tube tops in the summer that I forget about all my other clothes. lol wink The skirt was even cuter though. smile

Michael Jackson part II. I went to a record store yesterday (after going to the pet store) to pick up the new Rob Thomas disc. When I browsed through some other stuff, I noticed that the entire Michael Jackson section was empty. The cashier told me that they were completely sold out. Later on in the local evening news they also mentioned that his label,...

Ha ha ha nice....so if you come to the states and ask me to meet you for coffee, I totally know what you're doing. lol wink OMG I just made the best meatloaf, at least I hope it is. It's in the oven. It's stuffed with cheese, bacon and cornbread! I'll let you know how it turns out. wink

A good friend of mine asked me to help her pick up "a few things" for her cats. Fair enough, she doesn't have a car and her boyfriend was busy. Now this woman has two cats and loves these furries more than anything or anybody else. In fact, every e-mail I get from her has at least one cat pic attached, every X-mas or Easter...

OMG HAHAHAHA...poor thing. Well, I would have run in the rain WITH you! I think that's fun actually. I don't seem the type to do it, and I wasn't until recently when little P and I were out and it wouldn't stop raining...he asked if we could run and I was like, NO WAY! LoL Then after standing there for 5 minutes, I took my shoes off, told him to take his off, I grabbed his hand and we ran for it. We both looked like we jumped in the pool with our clothes on by the time we got to the car, we were laughing like crazy. wink And I would do it again! Anyway...message to come, tonight. smile ttyl!

Guess there's no way to NOT mention Michael Jackson's tragic death today. It's weird, some of my earliest childhood memories are Elvis' passing away in 1977 and John Lennon's murder in 1980. The great thing about music is that it becomes the soundtrack of our lives. I wasn't a huge MJ fan, but I was addicted to MTV as a kid (still am, actually, lol)...

I can't wait for the day I have the cash to move out on my own and live in my own apple-green palace wink but for now my quaint little room will have to do.

I know that Canada and Switzerland have an agreement that citizens aged roughly 19-30 or 35 can spend up to 18 months living in each others country while holding down a job. I had been checking out mostly western cities since I understand there is a greater French population and that would be the language I'm most comfortable with but small apartments to rent just seem so out of hand! And the few I've come across that are cheap are men only lol.

I'll still keeping up the search though. It's the country I'd love to visit most smile

Been trying to figure out my next move as far as getting a new job. Our Creative Director has really been helping me by calling people he knows. He's got a really good network, so hopefully something materializes within the next few weeks. I also get good feedback for my hotel development project. They all think the mission statement is very solid, but raising the...

Thanks I already went for the 2nd interview and thats why I wasn't so sure but you're right I just need to do something until I find something better! We'll see I guess.

2011! For some reason that sounds so ridiculous... maybe it's just me...

I agree about being sick of the cold weather. I'm sick of hibernating everyday because it's too cold to go anywhere else mad

My German buddy bought a beautiful, brand spanking new mountain bike a couple of week ago. Expensive wheels to say the least. We went for a beer last night in Zurich's old town. So we come to this bar, he gets off the bike and leans it against the wall. His phone rings, he answers it. I already go inside to get us a table....

Yeah, I know it's not wise to wait, but I have no other options seeing as I have no insurance. I don't want to go and end up with a huge bill and a prescription for aspirin. Which I won't take anyway.
delancey:
WOW that sucks for your buddy! I think it is great that you are taking cooking classes, I can only do basics myself, send me some recipes when you get some smile

Thank you for the great set comments. It was the first I read... so it does count!
Thanks tons!!!

I had someone tell me I was going to Green Day next month... Now I can check out the new stuff!

One of my last projects at my current agency is a big Pedigree dog adoption drive. It's sickening to see how many dog owners get rid of their canines after owning them for only a short period of time. Especially now during summer when many people travel to different countries, find some cute homeless dog and take it home, only to dump it again after...

It is so frustrating seeing people do this kind of thing to animals! I often see people trying to get rid of their pets and I always want to take them home with me! But I know financially I can only afford my one critter. People need to realise all the unexpected hidden costs with dogs, there's so many things I never even thought of when I got my doggy.

I stood in poop while I was playing with her... it was then game over.

Thanks for the good luck, I know marketing isn't exactly up my alley, I also thought the event marketing could be alright, that's what got me to apply really. Oh well it might be alright if I get it, good experience... not sure how the interview went, would be great to have some cash for a change, I just need some sanity money!
