I had my last official day at the agency on Monday. Now I'm working there on a freelance basis, which means I get double the pay... My full time contract is up at the end of September, but I still have like seven weeks of vacation time left. I hope they keep me on for at least another week, I could really use the additional cash.

Anybody seen "The Hurt Locker"? The trailer looks awesome. I might catch it this weekend. I really like these kind or realistic war movies. "Jarhead" is one of my favorite ones. And then of course you have the classics like "Platoon" and "Full Metal Jacket". It's funny, I have a hard time getting through "Apocalypse Now" in one piece. You can totally tell that everybody involved in that movie was stoned most of the time. I also like WWII movies. "Band Of Brothers", the HBO series, is awesome. The older ones like "Battle Of Britain" are cool too.
