I had a really cool gathering yesterday from another social network (no, not Facebook). It was at held at an outdoor lounge close to the lake and it was just a beautiful summer night - warm, great people and cold drinks... Met a great girl from Chicago who works over here and we'll go bar hopping next week. That'd we fun too!

So my best friend got the swine flu! I spoke to her today (on the phone) and she doesn't feel that bad. It's just like a regular flu. I think they're blowing this thing way out of proportion. We have these stupid public anouncements on TV like every 15 minutes. It's driving me nuts! I think it desensitizes people, especially if it's not going to be as bad as expected. And when some really bad shit hits the fan, nobody will believe it.

Really like that new Jay Z tune "D.O.A (Death Of Auto-Tune)". It's got a really great raw rock feel to it. Cool clip too. Like the mafia/Godfather vibe.
