They were an amazing band, one of the best ever - well, certainly one of the grooviest everl. I dug out their "MA" disc today and fell in love with it all over again.

I decided on my next couch. The one I have is six years old. Still looks fairly nice but needs to be replaced. Phillipe Starck's latest creation is just an awesome piece of design. But expensive as hell. The way things are going financially, it's going to take me about six months to save up the money.

My buddy from Chicago isn't going to visit me after all. He was due out to come at the end of September, but his wife won't let him leave for more than a few days. Too bad, I was really looking forward to hanging out together and catch a couple of hockey games. Now he's going to Vegas instead with his family. I was planning to go too, perhaps we can go at the same time. They have the greatest kids ever, a little 10 year-old autistic boy, who's like the smartest kid I've ever met, and his 13 year-old sister, who takes totally care of him and his waaaay more mature than I am... I love 'em!
