Another 80's icon has passed away: R.I.P. John Hughes! What the heck is going on?! I'm really bummed about this. His movies were such a huge part of my teenage years and I've never stopped watching them. He might not have enjoyed the critical acclaim of a Coppola or Scorsese, but nobody captured that era, at least from a teenage perspective, better than John Hughes. "Ferris Bueller's Day Off", "Pretty In Pink", "16 Candles", "Trains, Plaines And Automobiles" and of course "The Breakfast Club".

I'll probably get a kick out of his many classic lines till the day I'm old and wrinkly. Which is actually not quite that far away, yikes!
