OK, so I have to postpone my vacation next week. They offer me extra money at work because we have a couple of pitches coming up. Fine with me, I can use the extra cash and I'll be finished mid August anyway. Am seriously tempted to go to Vegas this September. It's actually cheaper flying there than go to Italy! The only thing is, I have to travel by myself and Vegas is no fun all alone. But hopefully one of my LA buddies could join me at least for the weekend.
Dug out a band today that I haven't listened to in a long time: The Birthday Massacre. Love their brand of goth, pop and electronica.

Sad side note: One of my favorite musicians committed suicide today. Marcel Jacob. He was in a Swedish band called Talisman. Incredible band. Marcel was Europe's answer to Billy Sheehan, one of the most amazing bass players I've ever seen. He was also a true gentleman. Marcel, you'll be missed dearly! But at least now you'll get to play with your idol Thin Lizzy!
