The parents of my goddaughter wanted to send me on a blind date tonight. No way, Jos! They said she'd be perfect for me. Yeah right... I've heard that one a million times from my sister-in-law. She's been trying to set me up as well. I only go on dates with people I've already met a couple of times - and understand my sarcastic nature. The problem is, most Swiss don't get it. Sarcasm that is. That's why I always feel so good when I'm in England. They seem to be the only ones who understand me, hehe... I'm not saying sarcasm is appropriate all the time, but it sometimes really helps dealing with difficult situations or circumstances.

A friend of mine introduced me to "Angry Little Asian Girl", a totally hillarious low tech cartoon series. I've had lots of Japanese and Korean friends in college, so I can relate to some of the issues the were dealing with.
