Been really busy at work this week. It's weird, they're laying off people yet the work load remains the same. I guess one of the problems is smaller budgets. Companies are cutting down on advertising and marketing costs but expect the same output from agencies. Kinda the same with salaries, we work harder for less money... 
Heading for some drinks along the lake after I finished this blog entry. It's been another scorcher and I need to cool off. We go to one of the countless lake shore outdoor places. It's really peaceful and perfect to chill. On top, it's only a ten-minute walk from my place. I just love living downtown. I have everything I need within walking distance. Perfect. Could not imagine living in the 'burbs...
Got the Mat Kearney disc in the mail today. As I mentioned yesterday, a stunning album. Not a single filler on this thing. I need to check out his first two records as well.
