It's been a very cold day for June. And rainy. So, last night's Journey show was really excellent. These cats are still at the top of their game. And Arnel does indeed sound exactly like Perry. it's weird, it's like Steve's voice coming out of a different body. This show also brought back memories of some of Neal Schon's old side projects, namely HSAS feat. Sammy Hagar (vocals), Michael Schrieve (drums), the very cool Kenny Aaronson (bass) and of course Neal Schon on guitar. They released one album, "Through The Fire", in 1984. Still a killer record. All the youngsters here should go out and get it, hehe... Here's a live clip from a show back in the day in San Jose. They rocked! And of course I'll be seeing Sammy with his new band Chickenfoot at the Montreux Jazz Festival in a coulpe of weeks - yay!

Started to watch the seventh season of "24" on DVD. Yeah, I'm sure all of you Yanks have already seen it. It hasn't even started on TV over here. I thought the last couple of seasons were a bit lame. This one is better again.

So another one of my friends is getting divorced. Scary. Of all the married couples I know, most of them didn't make it. I was best man four times - three of those couples got a divorce within five years. I'm done being best man. First of all, it's too much work, then it seems I'm not exactly a good luck charm, hehe...
