Still a bit hungover from last night's party. Was great. Met a few people I used to work with and haven't seen in a long time. Hopefully, this will be the kick off to a great summer.

Today is my Dad's birthday. I love my Dad. He's 82 and still very active and vital. We all went to brunch together this morning at a very good lake-side restaurant. I'm truly blessed with awesome parents. They've always been more like friends to me. My Mom's birthday is July 4th, another special day. Two great people with two special birthdays. Mom and Dad, I love you!

Going to the Journey gig in a couple of hours. Already very excited. I know, I know, corporate rock and and all that. Still, they wrote some great tunes, are all stunning musicians and have been around for ages. The last time I saw them was five years ago at a festival in Las Vegas. That was also the very first time I've see them play live. Steve Augeri was incredible back then. Curious to see how Arnel Pinedea, their new singer, is holding up on stage. Quite a story there. He's Filipino and used to play in a Journey cover band in Manila until Neal Schon discovered him on youtube. The rest is history.
