Sad story that made huge news around here. An 18 year-old girl has become permanently disabled after taking birth control pills. The brand is called Yasmine. Not sure how wide spread this particular product is. Turns out, there are/were other cases as well. Scary stuff. Women should really see a doctor and carefully investigate any particular product before taking these pills.
