I have been thinking for the past couple of weeks about a few things. I mean, I think that there are a LOT of awesome people in the community/scene that I am involved in but...I am getting kinda bored with the whole thing. Don't get me wrong, like I said, there are a lot of great people but the general lifestyle people lead and their ambitions/aspirations in life (or the lack thereof) are a bit depressing to me.
Earlier this week, we all met up at Kim's house (like usual) and the whole night, I just sat there and pretty much didn't talk to anyone. I didn't feel very social and didn't want to be. I just watched everyone and listened to what they had to say to each other. Very few people in that whole scene have actually done anything productive (career-wise) in their lifetime. I just don't see how dressing up all goth and sitting around staying up WAY late gets you anywhere. Yah sure it's fun and you get to hang out with some cool people but...at some point, you have to grow up!
I love dressing up when we go out and I am very happy that I got to meet some really awesome and talented people. But what are they doing to take the initiative to do something great in their lives with the talents they have? I love my friends to death - but lately I have felt so dead to it all....
Personally, I just want to be indepedent, move out into my OWN place, go to work everyday (without any interruptions) and go to school next year!! I want to do something with my life instead of being so damn complacent with where I am in life. I don't want to adapt to this lifestyle of...mediocrity!!! I'm just so bored and tired of this nothingness.......................
